Bill has been training dogs with professional dog training companies for the past several years. He came on as Lead Trainer and Operations Manager with Obedient K9 in March of 2007. Bill is a proficient remote collar trainer and currently holds a Pet First Aid & CPR certification and AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Evaluator's certification. Bill is very helpful to clients with one on one problem solving. At lessons, you will see Bill paying close attention to the clients and their dogs as they do the various exercises and will be quick to help someone who may be having a little problem working with their dog. Bill is also known for creating distractions in the lessons as handlers work with their dogs. You will see him climb on to a place board with a dog or be walking around with a squeaky toy at the same time, making sure the handlers make the dogs pay attention to them and not Bill. Before and after lessons, you will find Bill either working on something for the training facility or working with his dog Nicki.

Walt started out as a client at Obedient K9 in April 2008 with his dog Lady Golden (Goldie), a slightly out of control golden retriever puppy. Walt enjoyed attending classes several times a week. He worked hard with Goldie and she quickly learned the basics.
On December 19, 2008 Walt and his wife Hope adopted a black lab named Lilah from Obedient K9. Lilah went to her new forever home just in time for Christmas.
Goldie graduated Obedient K9’s Obedience Program on April 8, 2009. Lilah was soon to follow. She successfully graduated the program on July 18, 2009. Both dogs easily passed their Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Certification on July 11, 2009.
Walt has a love for dogs and demonstrated the dedication needed to become an outstanding dog trainer. He has shown us that he has what it takes to be a member of the Obedient K9 Dog Training Family.
BECAUSE we love them, WE train them!

Diane started out as a client at Obedient K9 in December of 2007 with her dog Gotti, a long hair shepherd rescue, who Diane and her son Mike adopted from Obedient K9. Both Diane and Mike attended training class every day and worked very hard with Gotti. Gotti graduated in April of 2008 and obtained his CGC Certification shortly after.
Diane and her son Mike of course just couldn’t have one dog, so they adopted Junior in November of 2008, another long haired shepherd rescue, when together, it is very difficult for most to tell Gotti and Junior apart, as you can see from their photo above.
Diane grew up with dogs and many other animals from horses, cats, ferrets, rabbits, snakes, rats and many more. Animals have always been an important part of her life. Diane is CPR/Pet First Aid certified.
Diane’s love for dogs makes her a valuable member of the Obedient K9 Dog Training, LLC team. Diane will be working toward obtaining her Trainer’s Certification.

Susan became a client of Obedient K9 in 2008 after she and her family became the proud owners of a 6 week old Chocolate Labrador puppy. After a few weeks with Spencer, she thought it would be a good idea to begin socialization classes and contracted Obedient K9. After attending the four week class, she knew the best thing for Spencer would be to start obedience training.
Susan and Spencer attended class regularly working hard to graduate. On April 2, 2009 she and Spencer graduated and soon thereafter, Spencer passed his test and received his Canine Good Citizen Certification (November 14, 2009) Susan is CPR/Pet First Aid certified.
Susan will be the first to tell you that there is no place she would rather be than at the facility training with Spencer and the other dogs. Because of her dedication and love of training and dogs, Susan has made a great addition to our team. Susan will be working toward obtaining her trainers certification.
